The new technologies in the university classrooms
Antonio Bartolomé, Phd., says that is important to include this new technologies inside the classrooms and also is important that the teachers learn to use this kind of things, because in this modern world and in this global society where the information travel to fast, the young people use this technologies in his daily lives, for study or to know people from other places and even from other countries. In this way, the use of the blogs is a very good way to integrate this kind of activities in the academic assignments. Specially is very good for learn a foreign languaje, like English, because the languajes are a toll to the daily live in other countries with a different languajes, so is important this kind of spaces where the students can show themselves and use the languaje to said whatever they like to say and show their own cultures.
In conclusion, this kind or resources are very good, and I did not find any disadvantages of using blogs at the English classroom, because they integrate in the academic context the posibility for the students to investigate in their own areas and to show their own interest using the English like their toll for say it. Finally, with the bogs like a pedagogical resources, the students can learn to use the technology not only like a source of entertainment also like a very good resource to use in the academical activities.
Bye and thanks for everything....

American History X

This film shows the life of Derek Vinyard, the leader of a neonazis group. He was very intelligent but he committed a crime and was jailed during 3 years. After that time, Derek is free and also, he changed a lot inside the jail, now he don`t care about his neonazis group and he has only one objective, to save his brother because he has followed his steps during this time and this kind of life is very dangerous to him, his brother and his family. Edward Norton as Derek Vinyard and Edward Furlong as Danny Vinyard, directed by Tony Kaye, American History X is a very good film, because shows the cruel reality inside a great organisation like the neonazis in our times and in our cities, and the concecuences that the actions can take against the protagonists; I can`t tell you the end of the history, but it isn`t good, it is very sad and unpredictable . The history is related by Danny, Derek`s brother, this is a great idea to know the reality nearly and to know how the Derek`s behaviour influences on his family. By the way, I don´t found any bad points, I have seen it around nine or eight times and I have never bored about it. It`s a very good film and it`s easy to understang why if you follow the hatred`s way, sooner or later you will pay the cost.

"Fiestas Patrias"

Hi everyone:
This week I`ll tell you about what I did during this Fiestas Patrias. Like a good chilean boy I went to each tipical "fonda" in every place that I found, for example I went to the celebration in Maipu, there was the "Sonora de Tommy Rey" with his "cumbias", I love it, because the music is very cheer and every party begin and finish with this music. Also there I danced some tipical "Cuecas" and others not so common but very exciting,"La Cueca Chora" by Roberto Parra, a great musician from my country. I went there with some friends and in the next day with my girlfriend. I ate many "empanadas" and I drank many wine, I liked so much, because is a tipical drink here and is very delicious. At the september 18th I went with my family to the "Fondas" in the "Parque O`Higgins", it was so funny because you can see there many typical personages around this parties like the drunk old man dancing with a "china" a very funny "cueca", singing to his country and fighting with everyone and without a reason. Then on september 19th, I just go with my family to my grandmother`s house for eat more empanadas, and roasted beef with some cousins from Concepcion and play some tipical games with them. Thats all I think, it was very funny to me at less.

Moai
I love my country, so the piece of art that I choose are the Moai. The Moai are stone's sculptures created by the Rapa Nui people from the Isla de Pascua around 2500 years ago . The natives carved them directly from the volcanic stone in one piece, and when they finish with that, they rolled them until the definitive place for the Moai, It could be a beach. They represented their ancestors or kings and his families and they are all differents, one of them could be a very important king with a hat and very big, and another could represented to a king not very important, so his Moai are not so big than the other one. The Moai are distributed in all the island, but a famose place to visit is the Anakena's beach because there are 15 Moai, the most important and biggest, they are on a stone platform and maybe the Rapa nui pleople used them for communicate with their ancestors. A Moai was finished when they put his eyes. I saw them just on pictures to many years ago, but it`s my dream go to the island and see them on live. I like them because is a mistery to know how they built those things. The word Moai are an uncountable noun, so you always say Moai, not Moais.

Little trees: Bonsai
The link that I want present to you is related with my favourite hobbie, The Art of Bonsai. This is a millenarian tradition at the east side of the world. The history tell us that Bonsai born in China around 5000 years ago and when Japon invaded China, they took this technique, perfected it, and made it popular.
Today is one of the most important activity in all the Occident and in countries like UEA, Argentina and specially in Spain exist many groups or organizations with international fame. Here in Chile the most important group is "Jardín Kyoto" and this is the website...
Enjoy it!!
